adding by tens- by Matheus

Learning Intention: W.A.L.T.- add to make a whole ten. 
Success Criteria:I know I am Successful if I can add two numbers that makes a whole ten.

Problems: Choose numbers that makes ten than add to find the answer
1) 7+3+4=14 I know its 14 because 7+3=10+4=14.

2) 9+1+7+2=19 I know its 19 because 9+1=10 so 10+9=19 

3) 2+6+3+8+7=26 I know its 26 because 2+8=10 7+3=10 so 10+10=20 so 20+6=26

4) 9+12+8+11+4=44 I know its 44 because 9+11=20; 12+8=20 so 20+20=40+4=44.

Multiplication-by twos fives and tens- by Matheus

Learning Intention:W.A.I.T.-multiply by number up to 100
Success Criteria: I know I am Successful when I can multiply skip counting doubles and repeated
problems 

1) how many marbles are there all together
2 children had 10 each=20; I skip count by twos 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20. I use doubles 10+10=20 
 10 x 2= 20 I multiply 
2) Poppy Sam and miller have 5 marbles each.
how many marbles do they have all together I skip count by fives 5,10,15

3)  Bentley ate 3 packets biscuits. There 10 biscuits in each packet. How many biscuits did he ate altogether?. I use repeated addition 10+10+10=30 I multiply 3 x 10=30. I skip count by ten = 19, 20, 30,
